Dani Holmqvist’s wedding to Charles Schick on Friday at Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, was bound to be a memorable affair, the opulent setting making for several picturable moments. Attending the wedding of the 37-year-old LPGA veteran, who is playing in 2025 on a medical extension after back and nerve issues caused her to miss much of 2024, were a handful of her tour pro friends, including fellow Swede Madelene Sagestrom and former U.S. Women’s Open champion Paula Creamer.

Yet there was another notable attendee on Friday President Donald Trump. The Mar-a-Lago owner was in town and had connections to Holmqvist. The golfer had attended Trump’s presidential inaugural in January before starting her season playing in the Founders Cup.

Also on hand, at least for one picture, was Elon Musk.

Holmqvist played college golf at Cal-Berkeley and turned pro in 2014. She has earned $626,073 during her LPGA career with two top-10 career finishes and 11 top-25s in 146 career starts. She’s also played 37 events on the Ladies European Tour with four top-10s.

While missing the cut at the Founders Cup in February, Holmqvist is listed as being in the field for the LPGA’s next tournament, the Ford Championship in Arizona, March 27-30.

Holmqvist’s other notable accomplishments include being a licensed helicopter pilot and a level 3 sommelier.
