The tackle heard seen ’round the (golf) world has given fans so much to talk about over the past year. But now the incident has found the perfect happy ending.
Earlier this week, the security guard who tackled Adam Hadwin as he rushed the 18th green at last year’s RBC Canadian Open to celebrate buddy Nick Taylor’s dramatic win finally spoke about it under the alias “Mr. X” because he doesn’t want anymore attention. And now, he and Hadwin have reunited. And it feels so good.

Here’s the tackle in case you live under a rock and haven’t seen it or you just want to see it again:

Aww. You love to see it.
And Hadwin is staying true to his word. In an interview earlier this year he said, “I’ve learned my lesson, I’ll be wearing my credential from now on.” And as you can see he’s displaying that credential.
Smart move. Especially if you plan on rushing a crowded green holding a bottle of champagne. And even if you are one of your country’s most famous golfers.
