The names Charley Hull and Donald Trump you might struggle to be used in the same story.
But it is possible.
The recent Aramco Team Series Riyadh winner has come out as a big fan of the 78-year-old media personality, businessman, golf fan and now-re-elected president of the United States of America.
“I’m a huge fan of Trump. I think he’s brilliant,” Hull remarked, according to the Palm Beach Post.
The Golf Saudi Ambassador even went so far as to say she wished Trump were leading the United Kingdom instead of the current Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.
“I admire how he speaks his mind without worrying about what others think. He’s very direct,” she explained. “I’d love for him to be in charge of the UK. I just like him as a person—honestly, I think he’s a bit better than our current Prime Minister.”
Hull’s surprising comments came to light after she was spotted breaking into one of Trump’s signature dances during the final round of the Annika Invitational two weeks ago on the LPGA Tour.

After Thursday’s round in last week’s season-ending CME Group Tour Championship, Hull was asked about the possibility of someday playing golf with the re-elected president, “That would be amazing,” Hull said. “I think he’s a legend.”
Somehow, I think Trump would like to make it happen.
