Jumeirah Golf Estates hosted its annual Pro-Am, sponsored by Titan Wealth International, with 27 Emirates PGA professionals and their amateur teams competing on the Fire Course on Thursday, 7 May, and the Earth Course on Friday, 8 May.
The two-day event proved both challenging and highly competitive, with only one player finishing under par. Matt Rice, of Golf-kraft, claimed the title after rounds of 71 and 72 for a total of 143 (-1), securing victory by a single stroke.
“This has been yet another fantastic edition of this yearly event, and I know this has all been made possible by Titan Wealth International,” said Rice. “As professionals, we are grateful for their support of this event and their efforts alongside the team at Jumeirah Golf Estates to deliver such a special tournament.”
Rice also praised the venue’s agronomy team, adding: “The putting surfaces were pristine on both courses each day, and they deserve tremendous credit and gratitude.”
Finishing one shot behind in second place was Louis Gaughan, of Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, who followed a 73 on Fire with an impressive 71 on Earth to finish level par overall.
Tied for third place on 145 (+1) were Charles Morra and Jackson Bell, of the Tommy Fleetwood Academy.
