Tyrrell Hatton has confirmed he will play a three-week stretch in the Middle East this November, featuring Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Riyadh.

The Englishman confirmed to Off the Ball at the Amgen Irish Open, that he will tee it up in both of the DP World Tour’s Playoff Rolex Series events: the $9 million Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship at Yas Links and the $10 million DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates, before heading to Riyadh Golf Club for the $5 million PIF Saudi International on the Asian Tour’s International Series.

“So I play the (Alfred) Dunhill and then I have a nice bit of time off, which I’m excited about. Then it’ll be Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Saudi Arabia in November,” said Hatton. “So yeah, a busy end to the year, but December will be a good month!”

Hatton, a member of Legion XIII on LIV Golf, has maintained his presence on the DP World Tour despite a full LIV Golf schedule. Since Ryder Cup qualification began a year ago, he has made five DP World Tour starts, highlighted by a Rolex Series win at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic in January. He has also competed in all four majors this season, finishing tied fourth at the US Open, a run of results that secured his automatic place in Luke Donald’s European team for the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in three weeks.

Hatton then went on to underline his desire to remain active on the DP World Tour, even though some of his LIV Golf contemporaries have chosen otherwise.

“I always said, when I joined LIV, I still wanted to play on the DP World Tour,” he explained. “At the moment there’s been a way around how we’ve managed to do that, and I’ve enjoyed coming back and playing these events.

“I’ve made the effort. Some guys chose not to and that’s absolutely fine, that’s their decision.

“But for me, I wanted to be playing these kind of events. Playing (the BMW PGA Championship) next week as well. I’ve always enjoyed playing the Irish Open, the crowds have always been great, and it’s always been a fun event.”
