16 current LIV Golfers are giving it a shot to qualify for The Open at Royal Troon next month, by entering the Final Qualifying event, being played on Tuesday 2 July across four golf courses in the UK.

The 36-hole qualifier has a minimum of 16 spots available in total from Burnham & Berrow, Dundonald Links, Royal Cinque Ports and West Lancashire. A minimum of four qualifying places available at each venue and any ties for the last qualifying place in each event will be decided by a sudden-death play-off.

Those LIV Golfers teeing it up in the qualifier are; Sergio Garcia, Carlos Ortiz, Marc Leishman, Jason Kokrak, Sebastian Munoz, Sam Horsfield and Kieran Vincent at West Lancashire; Graeme McDowell, Branden Grace and Eugenio Chacarra at Royal Cinque Ports; Peter Uihlein and Danny Lee at Dundonald Links; and Dubai resident Anirban Lahiri, Abraham Ancer, Jinchiro Kozuma and Laurie Canter (reserve) at Burnham and Berrow. Fourteen other LIV members, including recent U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau, are already exempt.

Highlighting final qualifying is Englishman Justin Rose. With 25 professional victories worldwide, Justin has three top 10’s in The Open with his first one coming as low amateur at the 1998 Open, where he tied for fourth at Royal Birkdale.

UAE National Joshua Grenville-Wood is also through to Final Qualifying, he will be competing at Burnham & Berrow, while Canadian Aaron Cockerill who plays out of The Els Club Dubai, will be at Royal Cinque Ports on the South East coast.
