PHOTO GALLERY: Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge – The Montgomerie
The “Race to Earth” has been run. Now for the final lap of Jumeirah Golf Estates’s world famous course to find the 19th Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge champions.

After eight months and 12 fiercely fun qualifiers, the last players for this week’s 36-hole Grand Final at JGE have been found.

With a net score of 64, Patrick McCarthy and Theuns Webb won the final qualifier at The Address Montgomerie Dubai. The dynamic Celtic Tools duo edged Alan Salem and Sam Argui Salem (Team Epic) by two strokes while Shane O’Neill and John Fahey (Team Stoncur) also qualified for the decider with a net 67.

Thomas Wiberg and Rune Rasmussen advanced with the best betterball gross score of 72.

The Team Palmers pair will contest the City Tower Cup at the XCGC final on Earth from Dec. 16-1, a popular new division this year which has already achieved it’s remit by enticing low handicap golfers back to the Middle East’s preeminent corporate event.

Plenty of sponsors’ swag
Suits your Sir…

If you knock it this close, you’ll win the nearest the pin for sure…
This Tesla Model X was by far the most memorable drive during the warm-up…
…although there was some style here

Getting a feel for the pace of the greens
Relaxed and ready for the battle.
But not before a test “drive” of that magnificent Tesla!

If only the Tesla was the prize!
Oh, the Tesla!
And they’re off!

Boom!
A quick downhiller coming up…
Pin seeking..

Nice impact position!
The flourish!
Get in the hole!…

…please!
Another fairway finder.
A long birdie attempt…

The finish!
Letting it rip!
Aligned…now for the stroke

Teed up by a great sponsor.
Nice shot!
A sand save attempt as the sun goes down on the 12th qualifier.

Great sponsors acknowledged
A classy affair
