The trio emerged from the “Golden Ball” Grand Final at Al Hamra after a nationwide series involving more 500 amateurs who participated in 20 qualifying events at 18 clubs.

Im, representing Tower Links Golf Club, produced a net 67 to win the grand final by three strokes to win one of three spots in the Pro-Am on the eve of the Oct.25-28 event. Field and Chia, representing Trump International Golf Club, Dubai and Emirates Golf Club respectively, both finished with net 72s, Chia sealing the runners-up spot after a back nine countback.
