Viktor Hovland has developed the nickname, the Resort Golf King, and this time in the Bahamas where he made back-to-back eagles during a final-round 66 to win the Hero World Challenge.
His four PGA Tour/Hero wins have come in Mexico (twice), Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. This guy is from Norway, by the way. We loved his answer on whether this feels like an official win:

But that’s not what we love most about Hovland. Golf writer Joy Chakravarty shared this excellent story of Hovland at Bahamas airport (below) on his way to the tournament at the beginning of the Hero week. We’re sure he won’t be flying commercial for much longer given his world ranking has climbed to No.7, but this is world-class from Hovland:
It’s incredible how down to earth Twitterless Victor is. Just saw him at Nassau airport. The girl behind hm asked what he did.
Hovland: ‘I live in Oklahoma and play a bit of golf’.
Come on! You are actually the world No9!!!#HeroWorldChallenge pic.twitter.com/ibyeIMYkD9

How can you not love this guy? Long live King Viktor!
