Gleneagles Hotel will host Europe’s only Senior Major Championship for a second time when the ISPS HANDA Senior Open returns to the venue in 2026.

The King’s Course will host the 39th edition of the ISPS HANDA Senior Open from July 23-26, 2026, following on from when it first hosted the Championship in 2022. That year, Northern Irishman Darren Clarke became the fourth player in history to win both The Open and Senior Open as he finished one stroke ahead of former Ryder Cup teammate and fellow Major Champion Pádraig Harrington.

Darren Clarke understandably was smiling after becoming just the fourth golfer to win the Open and Senior Open as he won the Senior Open at Gleneagles. Mark Runnacles

Gleneagles has an enviable track record of hosting elite golf events across its three Championship courses, including the Ryder Cup in 2014 and the Solheim Cup in 2019 and 26 DP World Tour events since 1974.

Both the Ryder Cup and the Solheim Cup were played on The PGA Centenary Course and resulted in victories for Europe, with Paul McGinley’s side retaining the Ryder Cup as they defeated the United States 16½ – 11½. Five years later Catriona Matthew Captained Europe to their first Solheim Cup success since 2013 with a thrilling 14½ – 13½ victory.

A number of former winners at Gleneagles now play on the Legends Tour, including Thomas Bjørn, Søren Kjeldsen, Paul Lawrie and Ian Woosnam, who won the Scottish Open twice when it was held on The King’s Course.

Johnnie Cole-Hamilton, Executive Director – Championships at The R&A, said: “We look forward to Gleneagles staging the ISPS HANDA Senior Open for a second time in 2026. The King’s Course has a rich history of hosting leading championships and we know the players will enjoy the thrill of competing there, just as they did in 2022.

“We are continuing the development and appeal of the Championship by returning to such a renowned venue and I’m sure there will be great anticipation among fans to watch the world class players in action at Gleneagles.”

Edward Kitson, Championship Director of the ISPS HANDA Senior Open, said: “Three years ago, Gleneagles proved itself a more than worthy host venue of Europe’s only Senior Major Championship and we are delighted to announce our return their next year.

“The King’s Course at Gleneagles is rated by many as one of the best in the country and we look forward to seeing the legends of the game compete there once again in 2026.”

Rob Dickson, Director of Industry and Events at VisitScotland, said: “Scotland is proud to welcome the ISPS HANDA Senior Open back to Gleneagles in 2026, a venue steeped in golfing history and the site of many iconic tournaments.

“Hosting the Senior Open is a celebration our heritage as the home of golf and highlights the strength of our world-class portfolio of sporting and cultural events. These events play an important role in growing our visitor economy and reinforcing Scotland’s global reputation as a top destination for tourism and events.”

Conor O’Leary, Managing Director at Gleneagles, commented: “We are immensely proud of the legacy we have built as a stage for golf’s greatest moments, from hosting the Ryder Cup to the Solheim Cup. Welcoming back the ISPS HANDA Senior Open is both an honour and a continuation of that tradition. We look forward to hosting some of the game’s legendary players on The King’s Course – a timeless James Braid heathland classic that celebrated its centenary in 2019 – as it once again provides the setting for world-class professional golf.”

First played in 1987, the ISPS HANDA Senior Open counts on both the Legends Tour’s Order of Merit and the PGA TOUR Champions’ Charles Schwab Cup. The Senior Open has been held at some of the United Kingdom’s most renowned and historic courses including the Old Course at St Andrews, Royal County Down, Carnoustie, Royal Birkdale, Royal Portrush, Royal Lytham & St Annes and Sunningdale.

Mark Brown announced his arrival on the Legends Tour with a bang by shooting a bogey-free 64 to overturn a one-shot deficit at the start of the final day and clinch the beautiful crystal trophy at the 27th Swiss Seniors Open, the circuit’s longest-running event.

Robert Coles held the 36-hole lead, but a front nine of one over par opened the door for the congested chasing pack. The lead changed hands on multiple occasions, but it was ultimately Brown who got the job done with key birdies at the 15th and 16th holes to open up some daylight at the summit. He parred the 17th and was able to play 18 with a two-shot cushion, making a stress-free par to become the first debutant to win on the Legends Tour since Scott Hend at the 2023 WINSTONgolf Senior Open.

The DP World Tour winner had started the day with four pars but got things going with three birdies in four holes from the 5th to turn in 32 strokes. He picked up another at the par-3 11th before those back-to-back gains at 15 and 16 completed a magical first week with his family watching on. Brown jumps straight into 20th on the Order of Merit.

“It’s amazing,” said the New Zealander. “I really didn’t know what to expect this week, so we’ve all just had a blast. We’ve had a fantastic week, and what a way to finish today.

“I stayed pretty patient. I felt like the scoring was going to be pretty low today. There’s hardly any wind, so I just needed to be patient, especially on the front nine. I managed to make a few birdies on that back nine coming home, which was really the key. Winning is never easy, so I had the heart rate going coming up 18.

“I’ve got a six-year-old son and he’s obsessed by the trophies. Unfortunately, we don’t win too many in a golf tournament, so he’ll be especially pleased to see the trophy.”

Coles played the back nine in just 31 strokes, including a birdie at the 18th, to sign for a 67 and join the tie for 2nd alongside Keith Horne and Van Phillips. That result lifts him to 11th on the Order of Merit and gives him valuable momentum to carry into the ISPS Handa Senior Open in a couple of weeks and his defence of the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship the following week.

Horne won last week’s Reignwood Legends Championship and he could have climbed to number one on the Order of Merit with a win this week. He gave it a good run with a closing 66, but back-to-back bogeys on 13 and 14 derailed his charge. He responded well birdies at the next two holes, but only managed pars at 17 and 18. He’s jumped from 4th to 2nd on the points list, just behind Hend.

Phillips had five birdies and one dropped shot in a 66. It’s a welcome return to form for the reigning WINSTONgolf Senior Open champion in the last couple of events after he also finished 5th in China last week. He’s now 16th on the Order of Merit.

Sweden’s Mikael Lundberg and 2018 Swiss Seniors Open winner Jean-François Remesy had rounds of 65 and 66 respectively to finish tied-5th on -12. Last season’s Order of Merit number one and 2023 winner at Bad Ragaz, Adilson da Silva, climbed into 7th with a 64.There was a four-way tie for 8th at -10, including Bradley Dredge, Thomas Gögele, David Shacklady and Simon Griffiths.

The Legends Tour now heads to the ISPS Handa Senior Open at Sunningdale, from July 24th-27th.

The South African shot a third consecutive round of 68 to secure the inaugural Reignwood Legends Championship.

The post Keith Horne reigns at Pine Valley in China appeared first on Golf Digest Middle East.

South African Keith Horne overcame a two-shot deficit at the start of the round to lead for much of the day and close out his second Legends Tour victory on the circuit’s first visit to mainland China, with David Drysdale, Matt Cort and Emanuele Canonica finishing in a tie for 2nd in the inaugural Reignwood Legends Championship..

A front nine of 33 that included four birdies for Horne, coupled with four bogeys on the outward half for overnight leader Simon Griffiths, allowed the nine-time Sunshine Tour winner to hit the front. Horne led going into the final round of the OFX Irish Legends in May, only to finish tied-2nd behind compatriot James Kingston, who triumphed with five birdies in the last six holes. But he wasn’t to be denied at Reignwood Pine Valley as red numbers at the two par-fives on the back nine – the 13th and 16th – gave him a two-shot cushion standing on the tee of the par-four 18th.

There have been plenty of double bogeys and worse on the tricky finishing hole this week, and the result was still in doubt when his drive found the fairway bunker. He sensibly chose to lay-up short of the lake that protects the front of the green, and his third shot found the heart of the putting surface. Horne lagged his par putt just inches from the hole, allowing him the simplest of tap-ins to claim the trophy in front of hundreds of cheering Chinese fans.

“It feels fantastic,” said the champion. “I realised the course suited me, so I just stuck to my guns and had a mission. I was leading in Ireland and I got caught up too much watching the guys I was playing with, and James came through at the end, so I was very wary of that. I certainly didn’t take my foot off the pedal, because I had no idea what everybody was doing behind me, and it’s the kind of golf course where if you do get going, you can go quite low. I had a goal to get to -14 and I just tried to focus on that.

“I drove the ball well the whole week, and I continued to drive it well today. I was never really in trouble. The greens were relatively receptive, so when you’re going in with short irons the whole time, you have to make mistakes to make bogeys. The par-fives were all reachable for me, so I was patient and tried to pick up birdies when I could and take advantage of the par-fives.

“The crowds have been fantastic and really enthusiastic all week. They really enjoyed us being here. They’ve been vocal and extremely friendly, and it’s been a pleasure to play in front of them.

“All of my supporters and family back home have been amazing. Their support has been invaluable. It means a lot to me, and it certainly inspires me.”

Horne got his maiden Legends Tour victory in Zambia last year on the way to finishing sixth on the Order of Merit, and his second title boosts him to fourth on this season’s points list. As well as this title and his runner-up finish at Mount Juliet, he has also been tied-9th at the Staysure Marbella Legends and the Barbados Legends hosted by Ian Woosnam.

Drysdale emerged as Horne’s main rival as he started with four birdies in a row and picked up another at the 7th. A bogey on the 11th halted his momentum, followed by a birdie at 13 and a bogey at 14. Another pick-up at the par-five 16th gave him hope of taking the title, but a couple of closing pars saw him shoot 67 and come up one shot shy of a play-off on -11.

Q School graduate Cort had a fast finish with an eagle at the 13th and birdies at the 15th and 18th to force his way into the tie for 2nd. In total, he had one eagle, six birdies and three bogeys in a 67. It’s a result that thrusts him firmly into the early conversation for the Barry Lane Rookie of the Year award.

Canonica had four birdies and two dropped shots in his first 12 holes, but back-to-back bogeys on 14 and 15 looked like finishing his week on a sour note. However, the DP World Tour winner hit back with brilliant birdies at his final three holes to end his tournament on a high.

Drysdale, Cort and Canonica have jumped to 10th, 11th and 13th on the Order of Merit, respectively. Van Phillips finished alone in 5th on -9. Last year’s WINSTONgolf Senior Open winner had four birdies and a double bogey in his 70. Maarten Lafeber shot a best-of-the-day 66 that included an eagle on 8 and no dropped shots to get into a tie for 6th at -7 alongside former Open champion Paul Lawrie and Thai star Thongchai Jaidee.

Griffiths played his back nine in level par with birdies at 10 and 13 and bogeys at 11 and 18 to sign for a 76. He and Greig Hutcheon, who had a 73, were tied-9th on -6.

Order of Merit number one Scott Hend and Q School winner Shinichi Yokota endured costly finishes to slip outside the top-10. Hend got into the hunt with a front nine of just 31 strokes, but two bogeys and a triple bogey on 17 saw him home in 41 for a 71. Playing in the final group, Yokota found the water on 18 on his way to a triple bogey and a 75. The pair were tied-11th on -5.

Former ISPS HANDA Senior Open winners Darren Clarke and Miguel Angel Jimenéz and two-time Masters Tournament champion José María Olazábal are the latest stars confirmed for this year’s Championship, which returns to Sunningdale next month, from July 24-27.

Some of golf’s most renowned names are set to tee it up on the Old Course when Europe’s only Senior Major returns to the famed Berkshire venue. Sunningdale will host the ISPS HANDA Senior Open for the fourth time in its history, following on from 2009, 2015 and 2021.

The trio join defending champion K.J. Choi, record 12-time Senior Major Champion Bernhard Langer, Major Champions Pádraig Harrington and Ernie Els and European legends Colin Montgomerie and Thomas Bjørn in what promises to be a star-studded field.

Darren Clarke understandably was smiling after becoming just the fourth golfer to win the Open and Senior Open as he wins the Senior Open at Gleneagles. Mark Runnacles

In 2022, Clarke became the fourth player to win both The Open and The Senior Open when he triumphed at Gleneagles, finishing one stroke ahead of Pádraig Harrington. Clarke won The Claret Jug at Royal St George’s in 2011, becoming the first Northern Irish winner of The Open in more than 60 years.

The 56-year-old finished third the last time the Senior Open was held at Sunningdale, just two strokes behind eventual winner Stephen Dodd.

“I’m very proud to have won both The Open and The Senior Open and I’m very much looking forward to going back to Sunningdale this Summer,” said Clarke. “It’s fantastic that the Senior Open gives us the opportunity to play on a number of the best courses in the country and the Old Course at Sunningdale is certainly a worthy test.”

Miguel Angel Jimenéz lifted the trophy in 2018.

Jiménez claimed The Senior Open trophy in style in 2018 as he triumphed on the Old Course at St Andrews. It was his second Senior Major Championship and earlier this month he won his 16th title on PGA TOUR Champions at the Principal Charity Classic. He was runner-up to Dodd four years ago at Sunningdale.

“The Senior Open is a very special event to me and I’m so proud to call myself a winner of the Championship,” said Jiménez. “I’ve been wanting to go back to Sunningdale since my runner-up finish there a few years ago and I’m hopeful I can go one better in a few weeks’ time.”

José María Olazábal captured the Masters on two occasions.

Olázabal, who won the Masters Tournament in 1994 and 1999, will be making his eighth appearance at The Senior Open. The Spaniard formed a formidable Ryder Cup partnership with the legendary Seve Ballesteros as they returned 12 points from 15 matches together across four editions. He went on to captain Europe in 2012 as he masterminded the Miracle at Medinah, seeing his side overturn a four-point deficit on the final day to win 14½ – 13½.

“I’m excited to return to Sunningdale next month,” said Olazábal. “The Senior Open is a great event and one which we all look forward to playing in.”

The former Ryder Cup player started the day one shot behind overnight leader Paul Lawrie, but Baker had taken the lead by the 4th hole, and he never looked back as he completed a bogey-free week and strolled to the title with a -16 total.

Baker made a steady start on the International Olympic Academy Golf Course with three pars before his first birdie of the day at the 4th. Even though Lawrie birdied the opening hole, the 1999 Open champion then double bogeyed the 3rd and bogeyed the 4th, so Baker’s one-shot deficit became a two-stroke advantage.

The 2023 Order of Merit number one didn’t give anyone else a sniff from that point as he also picked up shots at the 6th and 7th to go out in 33 and make the turn four shots clear. He improved to -14 at the par-5 11th, and another gain at the 15th gave him a five-shot cushion with three to play. The 57-year-old completed the full set of par-5 birdies on the penultimate hole and two-putted from long range at 18 to seal a bogey-free week and a supremely impressive victory.

“I’m absolutely delighted,” said the three-time DP World Tour winner. “It was a tough day. The wind was a little bit different, a little bit stronger today. It was difficult out there, so we had to adapt, and I managed to do that early on. I played nicely and putted nicely today. I holed-out well and holed a couple of longer ones, which you’ve got to do to win.

“It was just one of those days when you try not to make any mistakes, and I didn’t drop a shot all week, which is a massive thing, really. I was really grinding there at the last from about 40 feet, because I didn’t want to give that bogey-free record away.”

Where To Play: Costa Navarino

Baker played consistently well all week with two 67s in the first two rounds at the Olympic and Hills courses, before adding today’s 66 to get his hands on the trophy.

The champion followed up top spot on the Order of Merit in 2023 by finishing 2nd on the season-long points list last season, and this victory lifts him from 7th to 2nd in this season’s standings. He has also finished tied-2nd in the OFX Irish Legends and tied-4th at the Staysure Marbella Legends in 2025.

“I want to contend for the Order of Merit again,” said Baker. “I want to try and play well throughout the year and win tournaments. That’s always been my goal. If you’ve got a chance in the Order of Merit, then great. There are a lot of good players out here, a lot of winners, so it’ll be up and down through the year, but you just keep going and keep trying your best.”

Lawrie remained in solo-2nd for much of the day but a triple-bogey at the 14th, a bogey at the 16th and a triple-bogey at the 18th saw him slip down the leaderboard. He signed for a 79 to finish tied-17th on -4.

In the end, it was reigning Sergio Melpignano Senior Italian Open champion Thomas Gögele and recent OFX Irish Legends winner James Kingston who finished in tied-2nd on -10. Gögele had five birdies and one bogey in his 68, while Kingston recovered from a +1 front nine with four birdies on the way home to seal a 69. They improve to 12th and 3rd on the Order of Merit, respectively.

PGA Tour winner Bo Van Pelt had a -9 total for the week to finish in 4th. The American was out in 32, including an eagle at the 1st, and he had one birdie and one bogey on the back nine to shoot 68 in his first regular Legends Tour start. He missed the cut on his seniors debut in the Senior PGA Championship a couple of weeks ago.

Former Ryder Cup player and Legends Tour rookie Stephen Gallacher is into the top-10 of the Order of Merit thanks to a 5th-place finish. There was a four-way tie for 6th on -7, including debutant Anthony Wall, former Ryder Cup player Joakim Haeggman and DP World Tour winners Maarten Lafeber and Philip Golding. Order of Merit number one Scott Hend was a shot further back in tied-10th, alongside Robert Coles, Greg Owen and Simon Griffiths.

The Legends Tour now heads to a major championship with the US Senior Open at The Broadmoor GC, Colorado, next week. The next regular event is the Reignwood Legends Championship in China from July 4th-6th.

ISPS HANDA Ambassadors Thomas Bjørn, Ernie Els and Colin Montgomerie are the latest players confirmed for the 2025 ISPS HANDA Senior Open, which will return to the Old Course at Sunningdale this summer from July 23-27.

The trio join three-time Major Champion and fellow ISPS HANDA Ambassador Pádraig Harrington in the field, which will include a host of Major winners, Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup players and former champions from the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR.

ISPS HANDA, founded by the Japanese philanthropist Dr. Haruhisa Handa, was recently announced as the new title partner of The Senior Open. The organisation is a long-term partner of professional and amateur golf, promoting the ethos that sport has the power to unite and inspire communities around the world.

Sunningdale will host the ISPS HANDA Senior Open for the fourth time in its history, following on from the 2009, 2015 and 2021 editions.

Montgomerie was the dominant force in European golf during the 1990s, winning a record seven consecutive Order of Merits from 1993 to 1999 and then adding an eighth in 2005. The Scotsman made eight appearances in the Ryder Cup and captained Europe to victory at Celtic Manor in 2010. He won 31 times on the DP World Tour and has 13 over-50s titles, including three Senior Major Championships.

“The Old Course at Sunningdale is an excellent test of golf and we are all looking forward to returning there later this year,” said Montgomerie. “It’s always a pleasure playing in front of fans in the United Kingdom and they are in for a real treat this summer. The standard of golf in the over-50s game is so high, so the stage is set for a special week.”

Els made eight appearances for the International side at the Presidents Cup and captained the team in 2019. The South African has won seven times on PGA TOUR Champions, including his first Senior Major victory at last year’s Kaulig Companies Championship.

“I’m really excited for this year’s ISPS HANDA Senior Open,” said Els. “Sunningdale is an incredible venue and it would mean a lot to me to get a win so close to my home at Wentworth. My game is in good shape, and I hope to carry that form into the Senior Open in July.”

He also made three appearances in golf’s greatest team contest, being a member of the winning side on each occasion. The 54-year-old is a regular fixture on PGA TOUR Champions and has recorded 11 top ten finishes in the United States since the start of last season.

“It’s great having ISPS HANDA on board as Title Partner of this wonderful Championship,” said Bjørn. “I’ve only had the chance to play in The Senior Open a couple of times, but the standard is so high, you really have to be on your game to compete at this level.”

“Sunningdale is a fantastic golf course and I’m looking forward to seeing the challenge it presents us with a Senior Open setup,” said Harrington. “I’ve had a few close calls in this Championship so far and would love to be in contention again going down the stretch.”

Costa Navarino has championship golf, luxury resorts, and breathtaking views.

The Legends Tour touches down back into continental Europe this month, following a brief stateside stop at the Senior PGA Championship. This time, the players are welcomed once again to the ultra-luxurious Costa Navarino in Greece — a destination that blends world-class golf with Mediterranean elegance.

The Bay Course

Set in Messinia in the southwest Peloponnese, Costa Navarino is a member of the European Tour Destinations network. Known for its commitment to sustainability, the resort has earned a reputation as one of the Mediterranean’s most sought-after golf and lifestyle sanctuaries.

With four championship 18-hole courses — The Bay, The Dunes, The Hills, and the International Olympic Academy Golf Course — it delivers a golf experience that rivals the very best in Europe.

The Dunes Course

The 2025 Costa Navarino Legends Tour Trophy will be contested across two of the venue’s standout courses. Round one tees off on Thursday, 12 June on the International Olympic Academy Course, with round two moving to The Hills Course, before returning to the Academy Course for the final round.

Designed by two-time Masters Champion José María Olazábal, the International Olympic Academy Golf Course is set in the dramatic topography of Navarino Hills. The par-72, 6,366-metre layout offers panoramic views over the historic Bay of Navarino and the Ionian Sea. With its strategic challenges and unforgettable scenery, it promises a fitting stage for the Legends Tour.

Beyond the fairways, Costa Navarino offers a one-of-a-kind supreme luxury experience. With players and guests having the option to stay at one of four five-star resorts: The Romanos, W Costa Navarino, Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, or The Westin Resort Costa Navarino. The destination also boasts over 40 dining venues, three spa centres, a wide array of cultural and outdoor activities, and an exceptional level of service throughout.

Mandarin Oriental

With a world-class field assembling once again in Greece — including Legends Tour Order of Merit leader Scott Hend and Major Champions Michael Campbell and Paul Lawrie — this year’s edition of the Costa Navarino Legends Tour Trophy promises to be an unforgettable event in one of Europe’s most stunning golf destinations.

International Olympic Academy Golf Course

Key Holes – International Olympic Academy Golf Course

11th Hole
Par 5 530 yards
This first of two back nine par 5’s, this is a slight dogleg to the right. With three bunkers down the left hand side positioned around the landing area of your tee shot, they all are in play if you don’t decide to cut the corner off the tee. If you get a good drive away you can reach the green in two to set yourself up with an eagle opportunity, thanks to the very deep green on offer. If you have a tendency to bail out on your approach, the right hand side has more space than you think.

12th Hole
Par 3 187 yards
A visually stunning par three that can range from anywhere between five different club choices, depending on the wind direction. Missing it left is not an option as you are heading down the cliff towards the Bay of Navarino. There can be some great pin positions as well on the left and back right of this tiered green. Make sure you commit to your tee shot!

18th Hole
Par 4 400 yards
A great risk-reward finishing hole. Only playing 400 yards it’s not too long, so it offers an option of a birdie opportunity if you need one late in your round, but you need to be aggressive. If you do like to play a bit more conservatively off the tee there are three fairway bunkers to look out for, two on the left and one on the right but a big drive can leave you with just a wedge or sand wedge into this generous green.

The Legends Tour has announced the inaugural Reignwood Legends Championship, taking place at Reignwood Pine Valley in Beijing from July 4th to 6th 2025.

The tournament will be the first Legends Tour event in China and comes exactly 20 years after the DP World Tour’s Johnnie Walker Classic was held at the venue – an event which featured many current Legends Tour players, including 2005 US Open Champion Michael Campbell, who finished third that week and will be among a stellar list of players participating in July.

RELATED: James Kingston captures 2025 OFX Irish Legends at Mount Juliet

“We are thrilled to be bringing the Legends Tour to such a stunning venue as Reignwood Pine Valley and look forward to what will undoubtedly be a very special week in Beijing,” said Legends Tour CEO, Phil Harrison. “The Legends Tour is truly a global tour and we, like our hosts, are committed to helping develop the game and exposing it to new audiences.

“We want to inspire more people in China and beyond to take an interest in the game and our legendary players – from Ryder Cup captains to Major winners – can do just that. We are all very excited to partner with Reignwood Group and deliver a superb tournament at Reignwood Pine Valley.”

In addition to Michael Campbell, the tournament will feature a host of international names, with many DP World Tour winners and Ryder Cup players on show in Beijing. This includes 2024 Legends Tour Order of Merit winner Adilson da Silva, India’s Jeev Milkha Singh – who won the Volvo China Open in 2006 – Ryder Cup players Stephen Gallacher, Niclas Fasth, Philip Price and Joakim Haeggman, plus South African stars Keith Horne, Darren Fichardt and James Kingston, who won the recent OFX Irish Legends in dramatic fashion. More names will be added in the coming weeks.

Commenting on the tournament, Zheng Gang, Executive President of Reignwood Group, said: “Twenty years ago, we hosted the Johnnie Walker Classic on the DP World Tour, allowing golf enthusiasts in Beijing to witness top-tier professional competition for the first time. This year’s Reignwood Legends Championship marks our introduction of the Legends Tour to China. We eagerly anticipate players visiting Beijing Reignwood Pine Valley this summer to experience our exceptional courses and deliver an unforgettable tournament for Chinese spectators.”

Located close to Beijing and the Great Wall at Badaling, Reignwood Pine Valley is home to 54 holes designed by Jack Nicklaus and his son, Jack Nicklaus II, and is recognised as one of China’s finest golf venues. The original Golden Bear course opened in 1998, with a further 27 holes being added in 2006. Since then, the venue has hosted numerous significant tournaments including DP World Tour and LPGA events, bringing world-class golf competitions to Chinese fans.

Formerly known as the European Senior Tour and the Staysure Tour, the Legends Tour is the men’s professional golf tour for members aged 50 and older. Created in 1992, the Legends Tour’s active membership features many of the pioneering champions who played on the European Tour, including Colin Montgomerie, Jose Maria Olazabal, Ian Woosnam, Michael Campbell, Paul Lawrie, Paul McGinley and Miguel Angel Jimenez.
