Just when we thought the Ryder Cup hype was ratcheted all the way to max, Team Europe’s Viktor Hovland has found a way to turn it up to 11.
During his Thursday practice round, the feisty Norwegian achieved a Ryder Cup rarity in nailing a hole-in-one. He also moved into a bracket all on his own by achieving the feat on a par 4!

And the crowd goes wild!
If he — or any of his teammates for that matter — manages to repeat this on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, we can only imagine what the scenes will be like.
Here’s another angle. We won’t tire of watching this soon:
Viktor Hovland just made an ace on the par 4 5th at Marco Simone! 👊🇪🇺
