You can now apply for tickets to the 2026 Masters, because it’s never too early to make your Augusta National dreams come true.

Well, technically, you could have applied on Sunday, with applications opening on June 1. They will, however, close on June 20, so time is already of the essence for those hoping to win golf’s golden ticket. You can apply right on Masters.com and, should you win, payments can be made in late July.

Now, here comes the catch. Tournament day tickets were normally $140 for those who applied and were selected, but the price will increase to $160 for 2026. This is due to a major secondary market crackdown after this past April’s Masters, when hundreds of patrons were reportedly questioned about the origins of their tickets and a number of patrons had their passes canceled entirely.

The Masters website has this message posted below the application process.

“As a reminder, Augusta National, Inc. is the only authorised source/seller of Masters® Tickets. The resale of any Masters Ticket is strictly prohibited. Holders of Tickets acquired from third parties, by whatever means, may be excluded from attendance to the Tournament.”

In other words, your safest bet to attend the 2026 Masters is through this lottery system. Otherwise, you’re playing a dangerous game, the type that could get you right up to the gates of Augusta before being turned away.
