Trump International Dubai recently hosted its annual Black & Blue Tee Challenge, a highlight event for members. With the course set up long and demanding, many participants rose to the occasion, showcasing their resilience and skill on the tough setup.
Blue Tee Challenge
For the third consecutive year, Aoife Kelly claimed victory in the Blue Tee Challenge, posting a solid 1-under-par 70. Her impressive performance saw her fend off close competition, with Kanjana Amamoon finishing as the runner-up.
Black Tee Challenge
In the Black Tee Challenge, Craig Vance emerged victorious with a commanding 1-under-par 70. Hot on his heels, Tom Hoban took second place with a level-par 71. Mark MacGrath rounded out the top three, a few shots behind the leaders.
Net Divisions
The Net Divisions proved to be equally competitive across both challenges. In the Blue Tee Challenge, Lisa Brocklebank triumphed with a strong performance, edging out runner-up Donna Downes.
In the Black Tee Challenge, Craig McWilliam secured a thrilling victory on countback after both he and Jamie Burton finished on a net 67 (-4). McWilliam’s consistent play under pressure earned him the win, while Burton claimed second. Rajesh Kumar completed the top three, finishing with a solid net 68 (-3).
