A five-over-par final round is obviously not how I wanted to end the week. It was a tough day, to be honest. I made a stupid mistake on the seventh hole as I pushed it right. I was aiming left, and I just pushed it. It was a terrible shot.
I bogeyed the eighth, and then on the ninth, my second shot went into the water, and I two-putted. I didn’t want to talk to anybody. I just wanted to be alone.
But I’m human, I’m only 20 years old, and I’m learning.

I think if you had told me at the start of the week that I was going to make the cut, finish at plus three, and play with Adam Scott, I’d have taken it, obviously. Ten-year-old me would be super proud of myself right now.
My putting has been off all week as well. I was chatting with my coach, and we were saying that if my putting had been on, I would have been ten or eight under, easy. But it’s always “if.”
A dream opportunity 💭

This week wouldn’t have been possible without everyone’s help: The Emirates Golf Federation, General Abdullah Al Hashmi, the Arab Golf Federation, the Moroccan Golf Federation, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, and the incredible support they give me. I’m really lucky.
It’s been a big week for me, for Morocco, and for Arab golf. I think it’s only a matter of time now. Let’s show the world our goal.
