Welcome to Dubai’s annual Ladies European Tour (LET) stop like no other.

In its second season as a 54-hole, day-night Pro-Am, the OMEGA Dubai Moonlight Classic was already radically different than your stock-standard 72-hole strokeplay event. But the coronavirus pandemic has complicated things further with the gates to Emirates Golf Club closed to fans and three players, including European Solheim Cup captain Catriona Matthew, ruled out on the eve of the $285,000 event after returning positive COVID-19 tests.

But the show must and will go on with Lydia Ko, Minjee Lee, Georgia Hall and Charley Hull among the headliners hoping to wrest the coveted Dallah Trophy from defending champion Nuria Iturrioz on The Faldo.

Each day Golf Digest Middle East, as an official media partner, will produce the official OMEGA Dubai Moonlight Classic  ‘Daily News’ to help you stay up to date with all the action.

We start today with our preview edition and the best part is that it is available FREE here. Get up to speed and in the mood for tonight’s LIVE televised coverage on Sky Sport in the UK and Ireland, Dubai Sports Channel in the UAE and NBC’s Golf Channel in the U.S. and other territories. You can scroll through the ISSUU link below or download Wednesday’s ODMC Daily News to your favourite device to read offline or keep for prosperity.

This is a historic OMEGA Dubai Moonlight Classic after all. Enjoy and stay tuned for the ODMC Daily News review of the first round, out bright and early Thursday.
