Bryson DeChambeau, has most definitely found a new stage for his social media highlights reel this past Sunday: the White House.
The two-time major champion spent the day with President Donald Trump, as the pair took their shared passion for golf from the Oval Office to Trump National Golf Club in Washington, D.C.
In footage shared by White House Special Assistant Margo Martin, DeChambeau was seen hitting shots from the South Lawn—landing them neatly on a temporary green set up just outside one of the most iconic buildings in the world.
I know, I didn’t even realise the White House had a cut-out golf green?!

Later in the day, the duo appeared together at Trump’s golf club, where the former president joked about their matchups. “It’s not a very pleasant experience for me,” said Trump. “I always considered myself a reasonably long hitter. My wife says, ‘Are you as long as Bryson?’ I say, ‘Yeah, sorta… it’s not close.’”
He also goes on to claim that Bryson is “probably the Number One golfer now, him and Scottie are right at the top” uh, what about Rory?

Despite having over a 45-year age gap between them, their relationship has grown in recent months, beginning when DeChambeau invited Trump to appear in a video for his YouTube series, Break 50 series. Trump returned the favour months later, bringing DeChambeau on stage during his Florida victory party in November, as you do.
The collab between the duo also comes in the context of DeChambeau’s multi-year contract with LIV Golf, the Saudi-backed league that frequently partners with Trump-owned courses. Donald Trump himself played in a LIV Golf event at his New Jersey property back in 2019.
The Trump-DeChambeau duo seems ready for more joint appearances. Where they’ll show up next is anyone’s guess.
It served as a nice little warm-up for Bryson ahead of his next event: the $20 million LIV Golf Virginia tournament, which tees off this Friday.
