England’s David Hague secured a one-shot victory at the Mizuno Championship on the Clutch Pro Tour, held at Al Zorah Golf Club in Ajman, UAE. Hague finished with rounds of 70, 66, and 68, closing the 54-hole stroke play event at 12-under-par to claim his first win of the season.
Hague edged out Ireland’s James Sugrue, who finished second at 11-under following rounds of 68, 70, and 67.
A six-way tie for third saw Tom Sloman, Rhys Nevin, James Ashfield, Killian Ryan, and Josh Hilleard all finish on 10-under, highlighting the strong competition out of the 96 mixed player field.

Local players also made their mark, with Yas Links’ Luke Joy finishing in a tie for 8th at nine-under, while Saudi Arabia’s Shergo Al Kurdi signed for a T26th at five-under.
Ahead of next week’s Tour Championship at Al Ain Equestrian Shooting and Golf Club, the top three players on the Clutch Pro Tour Order of Merit will secure full HotelPlanner Tour cards for 2026.
