Once again, the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship presented by EGA will deliver one of the European Tour’s strongest ever fields when the 13th edition of the prestigious event tees off January 18-21. World No.1 Dustin Johnson is spearheading a field comprised of some of the best players on the planet, with four-time tournament runner-up Rory McIlroy making his first competitive appearance since October’s Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
These two golfing giants make up a ‘Magnificent Seven’ alongside the defending champion and current reigning European No.1, Tommy Fleetwood, former Open champ Henrik Stenson, two-time Falcon trophy winner Paul Casey, Olympic gold medalist Justin Rose and exciting debutant American Matt Kuchar.
It is a week where the eyes of the golfing world are fixed firmly on Abu Dhabi Golf Club and the spectacular National course, framed by its iconic falcon clubhouse. In celebration of the championship, Abu Dhabi Golf Club are offering visiting golfers a full range of experiences to savour, before, during and after the event.
Best of all, you can watch the European Tour stars by day and play the club’s Garden course at night during championship week. Special Liquid golf and private group packages (available for groups of 16 or more) on Holes 19–27 (aka the Garden course) are available every evening during the Championship from January 18-21.
