Yas Links – AED 250
Just when you get a decent run of time off to play golf, the rates go up, right? Wrong. Not at Abu Dhabi’s links extravaganza anyway. During public holidays, green fees normally increase to weekend rates however the team at Yas Links is keeping it at standard midweek rates – AED 250 – throughout the Eid Al Adha celebrations. There’s also a 2-FOR-1 offer on Tuesday, Aug. 21 (also the following Tues, Aug.28) that will give you AED 50 to spend in the club’s Pro Shop. Jolly good show all round.

Or how about this? We certainly don’t need much of an arm-twist to return to Yas.

What is Eid Al Adha?
While we are at it, why do we have time off? Here’s an explanation from our pals at What’s On.
“This holiday honours Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail, which is why goats are symbolically sacrificed over this period. It is separate from Eid Al Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan.”
